One Book, One Community Stark County

Submit a photo wearing your favorite cardigan to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day by February 13th to compete for a prize - or just to share the joy! Submit your photo at starklibrary.org.

You can submit a photo of yourself, your family, or your friends wearing your favorite cardigan outfit through our website until February 13. A complete photo album of entries will be shared on our Facebook page (facebook.com/starklibrary) where everyone will have a chance to vote for their favorite with comments and reactions from February 15 through February 16th. Winners will be announced at the Meet the Author event on February 17th. 

This event is part of a series of events to celebrate One Book, One Community.

Each year Stark County residents join together to read a common book and share ideas through lively—and challenging—community conversation.

This year's selection, I'm Proud of You, by Tim Madigan, explores the author's magnificent relationship with Fred Rogers. It began when Tim when was assigned to write a  profile of the creator, showrunner, and host of the preschool television series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood. I’m Proud of You is the story of this friendship and of the enduring legacy left to us all by Fred Rogers.
