Rita Woodruff, local author of Do You Want To Come Home With Me?, has been both writing stories and rescuing dogs since childhood. She feels her love for animals is inate - as is her love of words. Her passion for rescue grew out of volunteer experiences at area pounds. A bit more time, space and advertising, she felt, could make the difference between a dog being euthanized or finding a forever home. So she started her business Here Doggie Doggie (located in Magnolia, OH) and began taking in dogs of all ages, breeds and circumstances. Rita found that the work, though sometimes heartbreaking and difficult, was always worthwhile and fulfilling.
