Educators of all types are invited to earn contact hours while learning about the resources and services the Library has to offer for all your classroom needs.

Educators of all types are invited to earn contact hours while learning about the resources and services the Library has to offer for all your classroom needs.
Are you an area educator looking for a way to get the most out of your classroom? Then the Start Smart Educator Showcase is for you! Educators of all types are invited to learn about library resources for teachers and attend mini workshops taught by library staff.
The three workshops available are:
- Tech Petting Zoo - Learn about the latest tech and how to incorporate it in your classroom
- Digital Literacy - Stay up to date on changing digital trends
- Educator collections - Get tips and tricks for creating your classroom library
Attend one or all of the sessions to earn up to two credit hours of professional development. Don’t miss the drawing for a special prize at the end of the showcase! Registration is recommended, but not required for this free event.

About the branch
The Main Library is located in the heart of downtown Canton and serves a diverse community of all ages and interests. This location houses the Genealogy Department and is well known for its unique architectural design.
