Karen Harper is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of contemporary suspense and historical fiction. Published since 1982 with over 70 books, she is a lifelong Ohioan. Karen taught English for two years at Ohio State and 15 years at the high school level. Her books have been translated into many languages, including lately, Russian, where her historical novels have been on the bestseller lists. Her contemporary titles have used Ohio settings including Amish country and Appalachia. Her current contemporary releases are The South Shore Novels: Chasing Shadows, Drowning Tides, and Falling Darkness.
